Escape rooms recreate our well-known computer quest games in a real life simulation. These are games in which participants are locked up – usually in a room, basement, attic, tower, cell, etc. – and they have to find a way out.

This happens after a careful investigation of the surroundings, discovering all key details and with their help, solving a series of logical riddles and puzzles.

The participants need to find keys and clues, open secret hiding places and locked mechanisms. In computer quest games, actions are limited and performed by clicking on various objects with the mouse. However, it is much more exciting when all of this turns into reality and you are actually physically in the game.

This is how the so-called real-life escape games or as we call them in Bulgaria – rooms of tricks appear. Pioneer of the escape rooms in real conditions is the Silicon Valley, where in 2006 the room „Original Piece” was created. Nowadays these rooms are real sensation in Japan, USA, Canada, Hungary, Switzerland and in many other places.

The good escape games rely on an intriguing story and unconventional atmosphere.

To play a game you need to have a team of several people. You find yourself in an enclosed space (you are not really locked and in the 3KEY Rooms there are no claustrophobic elements!) and you usually have 60 minutes to find a way out and escape the room. You can rely only on your own logical thinking!

No special education, knowledge or physical strength is required. Nevertheless, there is a challenge! Perceptiveness, logical thinking and good team communication skills are needed to succeed.

The game is created in a way that not everyone manages to escape in just 60 minutes! Yet everyone is having fun! You can also improve your further experience and do better next time!

3KEY Rooms are created for teams of 2 – 5, 6 or 8 people (depending on your choice of room). The rooms are perfect for friends and colleagues, who are looking for teambuilding, chilling after work or just having fun.

Are you really good in finding way out from any situation? Try it! The experience is also great for couples and families – assure yourselves that you know each other perfectly in the most extraordinary way!

Tourists, by visiting 3KEY Rooms you have the opportunity to spend 1 amazing hour which is going to bring you lifetime memories. And we are located right in the heart of Sofia! And one question to the gamers – are you really that good at playing games? Prove it – but in real conditions!

Participants must be at least 12 years old due to the riddles complexity. If you have younger child and still want to come together, call us. The participation of individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not allowed. These games are not suitable for people who fear closed spaces. However, keep in mind, that if you feel discomfort during the game, you can go out at any time!

Unfortunately, 3KEY rooms are still not adapted for disabled people or people with reduced mobility.

The rooms are not recommended if you have fear of confined spaces. However, if you feel discomfort you can leave the room at any time! Don’t forget that 3KEY Rooms are real rooms, after all!

If you have no problem being in an ordinary room, the chance of feeling discomfort while playing is pretty small. There are no too tiny spaces and there is always light in the Rooms. There are no actors in the 3KEY Rooms and there are no scary riddles and settings that aim to stress and terrify.

Yes! In our Rooms we do not try to scare and stress the players, nor do we make them go through physical tests. However, for pregnant women we recommend The Detective & the Time Machine as well as Al Capone’ Secret Bar.

In any case, keep in mind that you need to climb stairs in order to reach us and maybe at some point to squat. Our experience shows that even in late pregnancy, the game is a quite calm and satisfying experience!

No, you don’t. You may need agility to some extent but you have your team behind your back, after all! The only physical “challenge” will be to climb the stairs in order to reach us, as well as to be able to make a squat.

If someone from your team is not able to do so, please inform us in advice, so that we can figure something out. Don’t hesitate– contact us!

The price for a game in 3KEY depends on the number of players in a team.

Тhe price for а team of:

• 2 people – 60 € total for the team | or 30 € per prs.;
• 3 people –  75 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.;
• 4 people – 100 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.;
• 5 people – 125 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.;
• 6 people –150 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.;

In the Al Capone’s Secret Bar or The Golden Apple & The Dragon only you can play as well in a group of:

• 7 players – 175 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.;
• 8 players – 200 € total for the team | or 25 € per prs.

Advance payment is NOT required. 

However, in case of booking more than 1 game at a time (for example, 2 parallel games or 2 consecutive games), a deposit shall be paid, which amounts at 30 EUR / per room.

In other words, if you arrange a team building with parallel games in The Detective & The Time Machine and The MaTRICK, you’ll have to pay a deposit of 60 EUR for these 2 rooms.

You can pay via bank transfer or in our office in cash. If you decide to visit us, please contact us first, in order to confirm there are available people at your service in our offices.

If you want to change the day and/or the time of the reservation, contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We can check for a new hour for your team according to the booking system’s availability.

Please, keep in mind that such changes can be made only once per a registered team! 

We do not require preliminary payment, but we ask our guests to observe the booked hours or to cancel them on time.

3KEY Rooms are created as an adult amusement. For children the rooms are an entertaining challenge, but the games are not a piece of cake. According to our policy, children can play without an adult if they are at least 12 years old. Kids over 8 years can also play, but with adults.

Parents with babies (in the age before walking) are allowed to enter the room, but they are taking full responsibility of their child! If you want to celebrate the birthday of a child over 12 years old, we will be happy to welcome you. But please, keep in mind we are not a children’s club and we do not offer catering and drinks.

You can also use 3KEY Hall, located at 4 minutes’ walk in a straight line from the address of the The Detective and the Time Machine and The MATRICK.

Yes! You can choose between a voucher for a specific room or a universal voucher that gives the recipient a choice of any of our escape games. The price is the same as the standard game price for the corresponding number of players – there is no extra charge for the voucher itself. 

The voucher is a prepaid game in a chosen 3KEY Room without fixed date and time and its price is equal to the regular price of the game depending on the number of players. It can be bought for at least 2 people and in this case the price is 60 EUR.

The recipient may decide to use his/her present in another 3KEY Room or to invite more people, but then he/she must pay the difference in the price for the additional number of players. More information about our gift vouchers you can find here.

The Al Capone Room’s theme is related to illegal entertainment, including erotic decoration, limited access to low-alcohol and pretty realistic guns. 

We must inform you that these elements makes the game unsuitable for minors. Considering this and at the discretion of their parents, older children can play with adults.

The Room’s decoration is of high artistic merit and there is no vulgar provocation. We provide a short version (60 min) of the Room, which is appropriate for children, families or more conservative participants. If you prefer that version, please tick the option for censored version during reservation.

The Detective & the Time Machine and The MaTRICK rooms are located in the heart of Sofia – in a few minutes walk from St. “Alexander Nevsky” cathedral. The exact address is 102,Vasil Levski Blvd.

If you are heading from Sofia University in the direction of Stochna Gara Square, take the right sidewalk. If you are coming by public transport, you can use the metro to Sofia University station. 

You can also use trams 20 and 22, buses 78 and 79 or  trolleybuses 1, 11, 2 and 4.

You can also easily get to our place by car. You can park in the Blue Zone (you have to pay via SMS to 1302; the Zone is valid as follows: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 19:30 h, Saturday: 8:30 – 18:00 h.; free during the rest of the time) or in the Green Zone (payment is done via SMS to 1303; valid on working days: 8:30 – 19:30 h.; free the rest of the time).

You can see a map of the paid parking zones in the capital here. If you are a fan of cycling – you are also welcome! We have a safe place for your bike!

Al Capone’s Secret Bar is located very close to the Serdika metro station (Line 1!)  at about 6 minutes on foot, right in the center of Sofia on 50A, Tsar Samuil Str. You will find the entrance in between the Atelie Club and The Destiny club, on the 4th floor. The easiest way to get there is by the metro (line 1, Serdika 1 station).

Another possibilities are tram stops 5 and 8 (Palace of Justice stop), tram stops 8 and 10 (Makedonia Square stop), tram stops 12, 18, 4 (St. Nedelya Square stop).

If you are coming by car, please, pay attention that the room is located in the center of Sofia, which means the Blue Zone terms apply.

The escape room “The Golden Apple & The Dragon” is located in Poligona destrict, yl. Ivan Abajiev 33 Ivan Abadzhiev Str., bl. 44. If you use public transport, buses 1, 3, 5, 6, 76, 204, 84, 184, 304, 213, 305, 605 and trolleybus 73 stop at “St. Anna Hospital” (9 min walk from here) or to The Mall (650 meters to our venue).

If you are coming by car, it is good to know that this address does not fall into the blue or green zone. We do not have our own parking space, but it is usually free nearby.

No! This is a team game. You have to form a team of at least 2 people. If you have no team for the game and the idea of playing with new people suites you– contact us at contact@3keyrooms.com and we will try to include you in another team.

The space and the riddles in each room are meant for an optimal number of players. For The Detective & the Time Machine and The MaTRICK this is 6 people in a team, and for Al Capone’s Secret Bar and The Golden Apple & The Dragon – up to 8.

You can split into 2 or more teams of 2 to 6/8 people and play in consecutive hours (for example 20:00 and 22:00 in Al Capone’s Secret Bar) or  simultaneously in The Detective & the Time Machine and The MaTRICK Rooms (located at the same address).

Book the closest 2 hours in both rooms and we will contact you to suggest adjusting the rooms schedules with 15 minutes so that the two teams start together. There is also a Notes field, where you can write that you want to play in both Rooms at the very same time.

For example: If you book for 6 people The Detective & the Time Machine for 17:00h and for 6 people  The MaTRICK for 16:30h. For all 12 people the game is going to start at 16:45.

The game is created so that less than 50% of the participants could find the exit in 60 minutes. In any case you will have a lot of fun! Take it easy!

No! The riddles and the puzzles in 3 Key Rooms require fast and logical thinking instead. Wake your team spirit and perceptiveness, unlock your intuition and imagination and… go on – unlock your mind!

3KEY Hall offers an indoor space of 100 square meters with several distinct accommodation areas. There are: – 2 separate areas with comfortable sofas, modern poufs and tables; – 2 TV sets with digital television, high speed wi fi with Bluetooth connection, as well as a sound system; – a large table for working or dining; – a bar with barstools and all the necessary bar equipment and appliances – beer keg, loaded coffee machine, popcorn machine, mineral water, refrigerated display case, various dishes and cutlery; – a private cinema room; For those who just want to have fun we provide: – professional foosball; – board games collection; – Kapla and TomTect construction sets, giving you the possibility to design building models with varying level of difficulty, as well as the opportunity for imaginative play of young and old;

When a event with escape game(s) followed by party zone renting is organized, there is a special price of 60 EUR (117.35 BGN) with VAT included per hour.

For example: if you prefer to book the minimum time slot – 1 hour and a half, the price would be 60 euros (117.35 BGN) for 1 hour plus 30 euros for 30 minutes (58.67 BGN) ot in total 90 EUR (176.02 BGN).

In case you want to rent the party zone with no escape rooms included, the price is

80 EUR (156.47 BGN) or 40 EUR (78.23 BGN)/ 30 min). So in case of booking for 1 hour and a half the toal would be 120 EUR (234.70 BGN).

The time to use the place shall be specified in advance.

During the event one of our employees will be present to provide assistance to the event organiser. 

If you would like to use 3KEY Hall for long periods of time, for example as a coworking space, the price is subject to further agreement.

Yes, you can bring food and beverages of your choice or you can order on the day of / during the party. We can also assist you by organizing professional catering for a more stylish event.

We kindly ask you to keep alcohol consumption within the limits of good tone.

3KEY Hall is organised into different areas. There are 20+ seats available. 

3KEY Hall is our offer for your memorable gatherings!

The interior is comfortable, resembles a living room, with amenities that can exist only in that 100 sq. m. fragmented space.

We recommend it for birthday parties, anniversaries, bachelor / bachelorette parties, non-standard work meetings and team buildings, cocktails, presentations, creative brainstorming sessions, private art ceremonies, watching sports events with friends, even for filming advertisements or for photo shoots.

The place is not suitable for parties with loud music and kids parties with animators. It can by rent by 10 PM at the latest. 

3KEY Hall can also be rented for longer periods of time, for example as a shared workspace. In such cases the price shall be negotiated additionally.

Contact us to specify the date and parameters of your event. After fixing the date, you will need to pay a deposit of BGN 100 (51.13 euro).

Yes. A deposit is required. After fixing the date of your event, a deposit of BGN 100 (51.13 euro) , VAT included, shall be paid.

The deposit is subject to full refund if the event is cancelled 7 days before the fixed date and 50% refund in case of change/cancellation up to 72 hours before the event. If the date is changed or the event for which we have been notified less than 72 hours in advance is canceled, the deposit will not be refunded.

When the event at 3KEY Hall takes place according to the initial agreement, the deposit amounting BGN 100 (51.13 euro), VAT included, is kept as a guarantee that the space and equipment provided will be used in a manner that ensures its suitability for its next trouble-free rental.

If no damage is found, other than that which can be removed after standard cleaning or repair by an employee, the prepaid deposit is deducted from the final amount due for the event.

However, if the event is held according to the agreement, but the guests cause damage to the party area and the equipment provided, requiring specialized cleaning or repair by a professional, the deposit serving as a guarantee is kept as forfeit and is not deductible from the final amount due for the rent of the premises.

We reserve the right to claim additional compensation in case of more serious damages, which cannot be covered with a deposit of BGN 100 (51.13 euro).

Our unconventional escape room is located on the same place – BOOM! Room. It is suitable for up to 5 players in a team and we can organize consecutive games starting in 80 min.

The escape games “The Detective & The Time Machine” and The MaTRICK are located in a 4-min walking distance so we can organize some escape games for up to 6+6 players before/during your stay in 3KEY Hall. Contact us for details. 

Upon request and an extra fee we can organize a role-play game in murder mystery style in the party zone itself. Please note this entertainment is available only in BG language. 

We abide by the official smoking ban inside closed spaces. 

Our cinema area is designed to combine home comfort with technical luxury, so you can enjoy your favorite movies, series, shows, and sports events like never before.

We have a professional sound system and innovative sound insulation, 120-inch screen, predisposing lighting, a comfy couch, and poufs to accommodate a group of up to 6+2 people.
